Leavenworth

Our friends, the Moultons, invited us to go to Leavenworth with them and the Collings and Thorpe families. It was beautiful going over the mountain passes. The roads were mostly bare and the snow was gorgeous on this sunny day. We got to leavenworth and had some brats and then looked around town. Our plan was to go sledding but there wasn't very much snow so we headed to the hotel so the kids could swim and play. The next day we did find some snow and did a little sledding. Hannah started off on a big hill and went backwards at full speed. She blamed Alec for pushing her when she wasn't ready. Eventually she gave it another try and opted to be a passenger on Katie's sled. Alec loved falling off the sled and building a snow fort with Brian. We wished there would have been more snow but it was a fun get-away!
