Alec has always been a good reader but he wasn't one to pick up a book on his own and read much. Last spring he started reading the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" books for fun and I think this is when he really started to love to read on his own. Right now he and I are reading "The 39 Clues" which is a mystery adventure book about a brother and sister. He is really liking it. He also likes that there is a website for the book where you can try to figure out clues to the mystery and play games. Today we just about had to pry his hands off the laptop.
