Every year on St. Patrick's Day the kids wake up to find a trail of green crepe paper going from their bedroom doorknob, downstairs, leading to a green treasure of things like green hats, jelly beans, tic tacs, pens, and Moutain Dew. They love it. This year, however, there was no treasure to be found when the kids woke up. Oops! They were disappointed but came up with many likely reasons he didn't make it this year. I was distressed about the situation and called David to see if he knew why the leprechaun didn't make it. Luckily, leprechauns are sneaky and as the kids got ready to go to school and went into the garage they found a trail of green leading to the Pilot where all the goodies were in the their seats! Phew! They put on their green hats and beads and happily went to school. The tradition continues . . .
