A Day to Remember

It was such an exciting day, one that we have looked forward to for a long time. I worked yesterday and was happy to join a sixth grade class that was watching the event. You could have heard a pin drop! The teacher of this class and I sat together at a table with a box of kleenex between us - we knew it would be emotional. David got to watch the coverage with the kids when he dropped them off at school. Below are some of my favorite pictures I have come across.
