Alec is at Camp Casey as I write this. It is a fifth grade "Rite of Passage" in the Tahoma School District. He was so excited to go and surprised me by not being nervous at all. I was excited for him too. Now I am just looking forward to him being home again. It has been hard knowing he is so far away (Fort Casey is on Whidbey Island) and not knowing what he is doing. I'm wondering how he made it without his mom (or sister) there to tell him to tie his shoes, wear a coat, brush his hair, etc., etc., etc. I can't wait to hear all about his trip when he gets home tomorrow!
