Saturday we went to the Showare Center in Kent to see a Thunderbird Hockey game. It was "bam, bam" night so the kids got these terrible blow-up plastic things to bang. Of course, everyone got them and they were loud! The game started off good but by the end we were down 3 to 5. It really was fun though - very action packed. 
Alec absolutely loved it. He said he liked it even better than a Mariner game which surprised me. He stood up and whooped and hollered whenever they made a goal. He did not, however, chant "Portland sucks" with the rest of the crowd.
I wouldn't say there were any major fights, just many scuffles. You definitely don't take your kids to a hockey game to learn sportsmanship (from the players or the fans). We did have a good time and I wouldn't mind going to another game next season.
