Earlier this week my sister-in-law Jeanette told us that our nephew Dalton was going to be the mascot at the Tahoma High School game on Friday. We thought it would be fun to take the kids and support Dalton. Well, we caught a few glimpes of Dalton, "The Bear," walking around (note the blurry picture) and Pat, David's brother, giving him some hints on how to entertain the fans. However, sometime during the first quarter we got a call from Jeanette who was just arriving at the game. Apparently Dalton got overheated in the stinky bear suit and was meeting her in the parking lot to go home. We suffered through the next quarter and then headed out. On our way home we stopped and had a nice visit with Dalton, Jeanette, and Joe at their house. I'm sure Dalton had visions of what it was going to be like and it just didn't measure up. Good for him for trying though!
